my philosophy of life.

I do not care what people think of me, it is not my concern. I want to live my life to the fullest.
I do not want anyone to teach me how to manage my life, but I can absorb advises. I can learn from their experience. Therefore I believe in myself, I believe in man. I don’t believe that God existed. According to Jean Paul Sartre “I don’t care about Jupiter, justice is a human issue, I don’t need God to teach me.” I have many lines that inspires me and give me knowledge and also to think and to ask. To be good is in me but I’m not contented to it. In short doing good things can’t fill my desires. From Susan B. Anthony “I distrust those people who know so well what God wants them to do because I noticed it always coincides with their own desires.” We know that all of us have greatest desires. However, how would you live your life to the fullest if you surrender your desires? I don’t believe in bible, bible is a work of a man like me. If the bible can talk in an instant and made me shocked, maybe I will believe in him. According to Epicurus “Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?” If he is a god absolutely he is powerful. I’m not against God or the bible I respect those people who believe, just like how I respect the other parents who told me that their child is smart and handsome. But in me I know they will not respect my own beliefs, because to their faith to God. I love this line from George Carlin “Religion is actually convinced people that there’s an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever until the end of time! But he LOVES you.” Come to think of it. All people are sinners even in a little way and in one click you will burn to that special place. But god loves us. I don’t want to change the beliefs of every people; I just want to ask questions. We live in the world full of reasons. “The way to see by faith is to shut the eye of reason” said Benjamin Franklin. Knowledge is the enemy of faith. But even you have faith you can gain knowledge. I don’t care what you choose and don’t bother care what will I choose. You have your own mind, I have my own.

I laugh my ass off with this line of Michael “A good king inspires loyalty. An evil tyrant demands blind obedience. A good king allows those who do not want to serve him leave in peace. An evil tyrant kills and tortures those who will not be slaves. This is why I could never be Christian. I wonder why people are proud to give their lives to God, they are shouting in the Christian church, worshipping God; give their life to serve him. Then something pop in my mind, what is the purpose of God? Why God created us? To serve him? To have faith in him? Then why God gave us knowledge to think and to ask? Moreover, worst is for not believing in him. I will not give my life for the one that I cannot see. Judge me whatever you want. Only I can change me. You can see me joining the worshipping for God but you will not determine the fake smile from the real. In addition, I do not believe in karma. At first, I am waiting for it but I have realized I am only doing things that make me happy, whatever it is. Only people give reason for everything that happens. I have seen in YouTube Christians make up 75% of the United States population and they have 75% Christian population in prison. While atheist whose not believing that God exist is at 10% population in the united states, and 0.2% atheist in prison. In the book of Psalms 14:1 in the bible, “The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God. “ They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good.” “Fools” said to the bible. However, they are many people who are the great philosophers; great scientist, paleontologist, professors, and the bible call them fools? They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good. Jodie Foster an academy award-winning actress. Is she a vile and corrupt? In addition, Angelina Jolie one of the best actress, Warren Buffet donates 37 billion dollars to charity how can the bible said that they are vile and corrupt and no one who does good? Another example is Bill Gates who donates 30 billion dollars to charity. “It is far better to grasp the universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring” Carl Sagan quoted. I do not know why people turn their minds off and say God did it.

If thinking and asking is a sin, then why God gave me a brain to think and become like this? I want to know all the possible answers for my questions. But who will answer it? Even atheist could not answer it. I am just admiring the answers of all atheists even theist have a point but for me atheists have a bigger point than theists do. “Faith means not wanting to know what is true” I think Friedrich is half-right, because for me faith is the nature of the human beings even without God. Faith got many meanings.

God created the world, but who created God? My friend in yahoo answer me this “God created the world, that God is our world, God created himself”. Then something pop up to my mind, if God created himself what is his image before he created his self. He could be an air with a freaky mind or a rock from galaxy that have a tremendous mind. What a fool.
I got this story from my friend. There was a professor of philosophy there who was a deeply committed atheist. His primary goal for one required class was to spend the entire semester to prove that God could not exist. His students were always afraid to argue with him because of his impeccable logic. Sure, some had argued in class at times, but no one had ever really gone against him because of his reputation. At the end of every semester on the last day, he would say to his class of 300 students “if there is anyone here who still believes in Jesus, stand up”. In twenty years, no one had ever stood up. They knew what he was going to do next. He would say, “Because anyone who believes in God is a fool”, if God existed, he could stop this piece of chalk from hitting the ground and breaking”, such a simple task to prove that he is a God, and yet he can’t do it.” And every year, he would drop the chalk onto the tile floor of the classroom and it would shatter into a hundred pieces, all of the students would do nothing but to stop and stare. Most of students thought that God could not exist. Certainly, a number of Christians had slipped through, but for 20 years, they had been too afraid to stand up. Well a few years ago there was a freshman who happened to enroll, he was a Christian, and had heard the stories about his professor. He was required to take the class for his major, and he was afraid, but for three months that semester, he prayed every morning that he would have the courage to stand up no matter what the professor said, or what the class thought. Nothing they said could ever shatter his faith, he hoped. Finally the day came, the professor said, “if there is anyone here who still believes in God, stand up.” The professor and the class of 300 people looked at him, shocked, as he stood up at the back of the classroom. The professor shouted, “You fool, if God existed, he would keep this piece of chalk from breaking when it hit the ground.” He proceeded to drop the chalk, but as he did, it slipped out of his fingers, off his shirt cuff, onto the pleat of his pants, down to his leg, and off his shoe. As it hit the ground it simply rolled away unbroken, the professor’s jaw dropped as he stared at the chalk, he looked up the young man, and then ran out of the lecture hall.

For me the professor does have a reason to be reasonable, it’s just simply slipped to his finger, it’s just an accident, therefore it is also not a work of God. Maybe if the chalk fallen slowly and hit the ground without noise or what, and not just slipped to the finger of the professor maybe I will believe that is God’s work. We can reason out to everything that happens. However, this is only a story it is not a true story. If I am the one who is telling the story and I am a committed Christian, therefore I will make a story that go against atheist, because I am the center. The same will happen if I am an atheist.

Why would God place a tree of knowledge where humans could get at it if he did not want them to eat from it? What, people aren’t supposed to eat? I mean here’s a huge tree with some delicious fruit on it. He is all-powerful and all knowing; you would think he would find a better hiding place. God could have put that tree in a place no one was likely to visit, like Mars.
While I am on the subject, can someone tell me why the snake is the bad guy in that story? How exactly is he tempting Eve? Everything he tells her is true! Read the story of Adam and Eve. The snake is totally honest. He says that the tree is the tree of knowledge. He tells Eve it’ll open her eyes. How can he be evil if he’s right? Oh, wait, now I think I understand why fundamentalists truly hate evolution! It’s the truth. If everyone reads The Origin of Species and accepts it, we’re only going to discover that we’re naked. Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson are just trying to spare us some embarrassment. I mean, how many of us really look that great with no clothes on?
That paragraph is written by Joe Dixon, a comedian that explains why he is an atheist or we better say why he is not a Christian. He’s right why God place the tree of knowledge were someone who can see it therefore God does not want them to eat to that tree. And the snake only tells the truth, therefore to lie is a sin for God.
